1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

Daisy

The kids have seveal CD's of KidSongs type songs on them. One of these CD's has a song called 'Give that dog a bone' (or something like that anyway). Yesterday, they were listening to that particular CD. I hadn't paid much attention to the song in the past, but my ears perked up yesterday as I listened to one particular part. It went like this:

"I have a dog
her name is Daisy
There's no one
who can call her lazy
'cause she jumps around
like she's crazy..."

Those lyrics perfectly describe this dog. She jumps more and higher than any dog I've ever seen. She dances around to do her business like a sacred ritual of some sort. She jumps high in the air trying to look over things and get up onto things. And when she is playing she will take leaps and bounds as she comes near to you or scampers away from you. I've never seen anything like it and it makes us all laugh and smile.

Here are a few recent pictures of her. She is growing quickly, doing pretty well with learning to use the potty pads and doing great with her crate at night and when we are gone.

She has developed an intense desire to make friends with the cat. The cat seems mildly interested in playing with Daisy and is doing quite well with the puppy following her around as well as chasing her, biting her tail and jumping on her head every now and then!

Daisy getting brave; the cat tolerating her play.

Audrey gave Daisy this pink puppy to sleep with and play with and Daisy loves it, as you can see. She is sleeping in her crate in her little box. We haven't gotten her her own little bed yet because they are pretty pricey here, but we will eventually. She had an accident in her crate and now the little box is ruined, so she is sleeping on an old sheet. She seems to like it just fine for now. She loves to chew on part of the blanket and also snuggle down deep into the covers when she sleeps.

She reminds me of my mom's chihuahua, Princess, alot, sometimes.
