1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

Dad update

Just wanted everyone to know that my Dad is now home from the hospital! Praise Jesus! He is doing well, but prayers for the following would be greatly appreciated:
1. Pray that mom and Dad can keep track of all of Dad's new medicines. Pray that they can understand the schedules and doses and all.
2. Pray for Dad's new diet restrictions and exercise regimen. Pray that he will be proactive and willing to work hard.
3. Pray for their marriage to be strengthened during this time. Pray that the enemy will not be given a foothold and that they will learn to live life with all that is new and that has changed.
4. Pay for patience for each of them.
5. Pray for each of them for job security and understanding as they both will need to be off for extended periods of time.
