1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

Villareal

We made it home Wednesday afternoon. We were greeted lovingly by our dogs, our neighbors, and our pastor's family, which was a wonderful welcome home! Everything is good here, it is raining, which equals NO DUST! for which I am VERY thankful! We've been deep cleaning each room to get rid of the dirt, dust and grime from 6 weeks of not being here and also from the build of from the dry season. We are not done yet, but getting close.

Last night, our sweet neighbors and our pastor (here) and his family threw us a welcome home party. Everyone has been sick in our neighbor's family and yesterday, Elvita was not feeling well, but they prepared food for us and invited us over for a few hours of fellowship.

Despite having a team here from the states, our pastor from our church here and his family, took time out to come and welcome us home.

They all shared with us how happy they were to have us back and how they look forward to the future with us here.

It was especially pleasing to see how excited Ronny was about having started discipleship with Pastor Phil. What God can do, the power His word has to change lives, will never cease to amaze me.

We are overwhelmed at this gesture of true kindness to make known to us that we are loved and were missed while in the states.

We look forward to Sunday when we'll see the rest of the church, the rest of our disciples and worship the One True God with our community here again.

And Ethan's nightmares stopped our first night back in Costa Rica- Praise be to God!!
