1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

Playa Hermosa

When Matt asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday, the decision was not hard- off to the beach for the day!

We decided to head to one of the nearest beaches on the Pacific side, close to Jacó, called Playa Hermosa. There are several beaches in this area and are all well-known surfing beaches. We knew this and also knew the surf would be rough, but we were excited to be able to get away and enjoy the ocean.

So, off we headed on our two-hour journey. Some friends from school had blessed us by lending us their car for the week while they were in the states, so we were able to drive ourselves. We were glad our friend Ale was able to come with us, as well.

We had a fantastic day and it was a beautiful beach!

Enjoy the pictures!

The kids found about 10 crabs that they kept as pets for the day...

At dinner, Ale ate pasta and sea food and there was a crab in her food, cooked of course, but the kids had never seen anyone eat anything like that. Audrey was just perplexed at why she was eating a crab like we had just seen at the bus.
