1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

pictures...pictures...pictures!

Here is a massive picture post of the many I've been meaning to post for the past couple months.
ENJOY!

This was taken on one of the last nights the four teenage girls were here. Our girls have this dance game that has a DVD with it and Chelsie and Jessica got hooked on it. They had fun dancing with Isabelle on this night.

Even though we are in another country, we still try to find time to make life normal and just be silly. This was one of those nights :)

This was taken the morning the girls left. They were such a pleasure to have here for the summer. They helped the ministry in so many ways. We saw huge growth in them from the day the arrived to the day the left. God was definetly working on their hearts while they were here and we continue to pray that he continues to work on their hearts now that they are back home. THANKS Cherilyn, Chelsie, Heather and Jessica for serving Jesus here in Costa Rica!

This was taken one night when we had several families over whom we have become friends with over the past year. Of all the people we have met through school, these families have become very special to us. We will miss them as they prepare to head off to the countries God has called them to, but we are thankful for the time we've had to share life with them!

Our kids have all really bonded and our hope is that they will stay friends forever and one day look back to these days as the beginning of all God had planned for them!

This by the way is in the front open patio area of our home. Along the side of the house is another concrete area that is great for Ethan to practice soccer or for the girls to just play. It has become a great area to grill and spend time fellowshipping with friends. We have also been able to meet many of our neighbors this way, too.

Ethan had to get in the picture :) This is our dear friend Ale and Sandra, one of our Canadian friends :) She is SUPER sweet and a has been a great friend to me :)

This was on Audrey's birthday. Ethan made her a card and put some of his own money in the card for her present. How sweet, eh? (That "eh" is the result of the influence of my Canadian friends :) )

Isabelle gave Audrey her Dora doll for her birthday present! :)

Mommy and her girls

When Alex came back from his visit to the states, he brought a few surprises- one of which was a Game Boy for Ethan (in hopes to solve the gameboy fights we have in the house). Ethan was very surprised as you can see :)

Alex and Ethan hugging. Alex has definetly done a good job this year filling the role of Uncle for the kids :)
