1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

Oh! You're 40!

Yesterday, mi guapo turned 40! I'm so blessed to walk through this life by his side. He blesses me, leads me, loves me, cares for me, and makes me laugh. He's my best friend. Forty years or not, he is more handsome now than when we met nineteen years ago. I knew then there was something about him. We've had difficult times, joyous times, and normal, everyday times...

No matter what our current circumstances, I wouldn't want to be anywhere other than by your side, Matthew. Just as I told you on our wedding day, you are a gift from God to me and I love you. I am thankful to be your wife. I am thankful you are the father of my children. I am thankful that you love Jesus and follow hard after Him. And I am thankful for your forty years of life!
