1 Corinthians 3:4-9

"For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."

16 years

Today we celebrate sixteen years of marriage.
When we got married we were so young. We really did not know what we were doing...but thankfully God did. Thankfully, before the beginning of time, God our Father had perfectly planned out our lives together. And we are so thankful! Our years together are full of  many, many fun times; great joy and difficult moments. We have walked through very low times, and also great victories. We've been together through times of plenty and through times of scarcity. We have walked together through sickness and through health.

Today, I look at this picture and am so overjoyed at God's goodness. He is so faithful. He never walked away from us, even when we wanted to give up. He has remained faithful and has restored our marriage. He has remained faithful and has strengthened our marriage. He has remained faithful and has made our marriage into something I had only once dreamed about.

There have been so many who have walked with us, beside us, and sometimes have carried us through difficult moments. We thank all of you who have been influential in our lives and marriage. We are thankful for our parents who gave us life! We are thankful for those who have prayed for our marriage over the years. Thank you- and please keep praying!

Would you join us today in celebrating God's faithfulness, goodness, and his grace as we celebrate our marriage today?
